Okay, PCA may have the best teachers in the world, but so far, I learned my most valuable lesson this year OUTSIDE the classroom…

NEVER lie to your friends – even if you think telling the truth might hurt their feelings.  And believe me, it’s not always an easy thing to do. 

For example, let’s say your friend – we’ll call her “Quincy” – is too shy to ask a boy out so you do it for her.  If the boy says “NO,” don’t tell “Quincy” that he said “YES” – no matter how excited she is!  You will only dig yourself a deeper hole and you could wind up losing “Quincy’s” friendship forever.

And what ever you do, DON’T set up a fake date between Quincy and her crush, and then try to convince them it’s real.  Just a little advice from someone who knows.  : )
