Dear Chase & Logan,
Baseball tryouts are coming up in March.  I have a great attitude and LOVE baseball – but I’m not very athletic.  Should I try out and risk embarrassing myself, or should I just stay on the sidelines?
Signed, IWANNAPLAYBALL

Dear IWANNAPLAYBALL,
I can understand your dilemma, but I really think you should try out for the team.  You never know what could happen.  And remember -- we’re our own worst critics, so you might be better than you think!  But even if you don’t make the team, you can still talk to the Coach about becoming a team manager.  You’d get to practice everyday, and be a valuable member of the team.   Good luck!

Dear IWANNAPLAYBALL,
please, please please don’t tryout for baseball.  IDON’TWANNAYOUONMYTEAM!!!  PCA sports are only for gifted athletes like me, and… well, I can’t think of anyone else right now, but you know what I mean.  And look on the bright side, you could still be the team manager – just think how cool it would be to bring me water at practice!  And remember, there’s always cheerleading.
